Infertility is traditionally defined as the inability to conceive after 12 months of regular, unprotected intercourse. Although we are not a fertility center, we can assess the cause of a couple’s difficulty in achieving a pregnancy. By obtaining a careful history and physical examination of both partners as well as the appropriate laboratory and imaging studies, we can often determine if the problem is something our office can manage more efficiently or if referral to an infertility specialist is in your best interest.
